My name is Ankeel Bhakta and I am currently serving as Vice President of the University of Houston SPE Student Chapter. We have a great year ahead of us, with many events and networking opportunities. One of these events is our third annual SPE Golf Tournament, which is what my main focus will be for the Fall Semester. I am an avid sports fan, golf being my favorite, and I enjoy writing about various topics. SPE is a great organization, and I am proud to say that I have been a part of our chapter for two years. I am confident that with the support of our student members, faculty, and officers, we can all work together to make this year a great one.
